Mike The Headless Chicken Festival
Every year, thousands of people flock to downtown Fruita to celebrate the life of a world-famous headless chicken named Mike. The festival is typically held in the first week of June at the Fruita Civic Center Pavilion. There will be food vendors, artisans, live music, 5k run, car show, free backyard games, disc golf, wing and peep eating contests, and a pancake breakfast.

Fibark
FIBArk is the nation's oldest whitewater festival and Salida's signature event. Since 1949, every June during the Spring snow runoff, Salida has hosted FIBArk, "First in Boating on the Arkansas."
Days are filled with whitewater races on the Arkansas River, live music on the stage in Riverside Park, rides, food, parties, dogs, happy people and great times!

You're invited to spend a family night at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Park! (25690 E. Quincy Ave. Aurora, CO 80016).
Bring a picnic, blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy a movie under the stars.
Pre-movie activities start at 5:30 p.m. and the movie rolls around 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $5, and kids 2 and under get in free! Event will be held outdoors under the covered Civitas Arena.
Screenings are in partnership with Arapahoe Libraries.

National Western Stock Show
The National Western Stock Show, one of Colorado’s preeminent tourist destinations, is held every January for 16 days. A nationally recognized western heritage and entertainment event, the stock show hosts one of the world’s richest regular season professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows, and Colorado’s largest western trade show, attracting attendance numbers over 700,000 visitors each year.

PRIDE festival and parade
Join us for snow cones in Grand Junction for 2 days of Pride filled activities! Saturday is PRIDE IN THE PARK, a family friendly event from Noon-4PM, full of vendors and food trucks.
Sunday is the parade and festival! The parade starts around noon and is immediately followed by the festival! Thousands of people descend into town for vendors, food trucks, music, drag performances and more.
Lafayette Peach Festival
24th Annual Peach Festival centers around world famous all natural Palisade, Colorado peaches. Enjoy peach pies and peach cobbler. Food vendors, crafters, antique dealers along with some of the finest artists from the Front Range and Western States will be showcased. Children's activities in 2 locations.
Over 30,000 pounds of Certified Organic Peaches from Morton's Orchard's and Tate Orchards in Palisade, CO. will be available in 3 locations along Public Rd.
600 fresh peach pies, 150 9 x 12 pans of peach cobbler and individual servings of peach cobbler while supplies last, are available for sale at Festival Plaza and in front of Lafayette Florist.
Free face painting by Face Fiesta & balloon sculpting all day, 10:00am-3:00pm
Vitalant Bloodmobile will be holding a Blood Drive from 9:30am - 3:30pm. Look for the Vitalant Bus on S. Public road near Kimbark Street

Meadows Library - Bicycle Rodeo
Children ages 12 and under will learn about bicycle safety from Boulder Police Officers. A bicycle skills course, helmet fittings, and bike safety inspections will be on site.
